With all the buzz over the premiere of The Great Gatsby at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival comes more excitement in the world of dance: a performance by the Tiffany’s Diamond Dancers, including Christine Sienicki, a swimsuit model for Ibiza Donna. Christine performed at Rockefeller Center, while Tiffany & Co. exhibited their jewelry used in The Great Gatsby film. Ultimately, the night was a showcase of glamour with the attendance of many stars and a performance by American stage and television actress, Megan Hilty. The event pervaded with the extravagant spirit of the 1920’s as the dancers’ hair and makeup reflected fashions that were central to fashionable women during the Roaring 20’s.

            Every aspect of this performance resonated with extravagance. Costumes were all true to the era and designed by a Broadway costumer. As Christine adds “as well as anyone who was working the event which meant even the coat girl was dressed in a 1920’s outfit. It was all out!”  Outside of the theatre contributed to the splendid decadence of the evening, as Tiffany & Co. structured it like a huge Tiffany turquoise jewelry box with a classic white bow around it.

            With the live jazz orchestration as the dance performance’s prime source of music, the event was a real 1920’s experience for the audience. It captured the dancing spirit, vibrant jazz music, a taste for fashion and jewels, and the glamorous lifestyle of the 1920’s all in one night. Christine and the Tiffany’s Diamond Dancers collectively performed three numbers echoing the primary dance moves and styles in the 20’s. Overall, the Tiffany’s Diamond Dancers put on a wonderful performance at Rockefeller Center for Tiffany & Co. as they showcased jewels from the film, The Great Gatsby. The event was filled with jazz, jewels, and the heart of the Roaring 1920’s as Christine Sienicki, the stunning swimsuit model for Ibiza Donna, performed as a part of the Tiffany’s Diamond Dancers.
