SPOTLIGHT: Shopping trip with Miss NJ USA 2013

Today I had the wonderful opportunity to spend the day with the gorgeous Miss New Jersey, Libell Duran, as she went dress shopping for her Miss USA Pageant. Libell will be competing on June 16 for the crown at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. She has been competing in pageants since she was seventeen and was first runner up at her first pageant until she turned everything around and won the very next one! Ever since, Libell has proved to be a very serious competitor.

Libell also takes acting classes with Emily Fletcher at Shelter Studios in New York City. In the future, she would love to have her own TV show and become a TV Personality. In fact, Libell has encountered the big screen as she played the role of Virgin Guard in The Dictator starring  

Sacha Baron Cohen. 

All in all, we had a day filled with gorgeous cocktail dresses as we searched for the perfect little black dress for Libell. Libell found success in Rue Royale, a lovely couture boutique in Red Bank, NJ with the assistance of store owner Lynn, who made sure that Libell left happy and more than prepared for the pageant. 

We even stopped at Mrs. NJ International 2013's house for some more glamorous dresses and words of wisdom.

Some of the other outfits Libell must wear on pageant night include Western Wear and a few of her favorite trendy clothing hotspots range from Nordstrom and BCBG to Topshop and Forever 21. Libell's advice to other beauties looking to get into pageantry: you don't need to spend a million dollars to win, just be yourself! At Rue Royale, Libell picked out fabulous cocktail dresses, many covered in diamond-like gems and glam! She will be sure to shine on pageant night, with a dress as charismatic as her personality.
